Backup Your Sensitive Data... Then Restore

If you're a business man, or even if you're not, then you have important computer data - client information, employee information, taxes information and other critical information - that you don't want to lose.  Have you ever thought about a computer crash? What would happen if someone were to steal your computer?  How would this hurt you?

There is a radio personality that I hear say on a daily basis that if it hasn't happen yet, our computer system is bound to be stolen or crash at some point.  I personally am very optimistic when it comes to this.  I don't fear that it will ever happen to me.  Not only do I not fear it, but I don't think that it will necessarily happen to me. I am not sure if you would call that optimism or naivete.  However, recently I've come across a product that would help me and any business out there: StorageCraft ShadowProtect.  This is a product that performs a backup for ALL the data on your computer system (can also be used or different types of servers).  You might say to yourself that so many companies out there can do backup, why this one?  StorageCraft not only offers awesome backup solutions, but their focus is in the recovery process.  And in this, they are the best.

So don't concern yourself with what you would do if your computer systems crashed. Don't worry about how of what you're going to do when your at work mid day and your computer system crashes.  Check out StorageCraft and see what they can offer you.  You can even download a free 30 day trial directly from their website.  That's what I did.  Check 'em out.  They're super friendly and can answer any questions you have about the product.

Using Google+ in Your Marketing Strategy for 2014

Using Google+ for Your Business Marketing in 2014

Google made a lot of changes in 2014 and as a result, Google+ has gained importance in SEO Rankings.  If you didn’t use Google+ in your marketing strategy in 2013, here are a few compelling reasons to use it in 2014.

Rank Higher in Search Results
Search results are highly influenced by your personal activity on Google+.  Google has created a network of properties that feed off one another.  Anyone that has a Gmail account by default has a Google+ account also.  Then, if they use an android device, the photos they take with it are automatically synced with their google+ account.

Get Even More Exposure
Google Authorship is a strategy that small businesses should use.  It links a Google+ user’s activity to content he or she creates on any website.  It essentially gives Google all of the information it needs to start feeding your content to your connections.

Broadcast Your Message
Check out Google+ Hangouts.  It can be used to conduct webinars, face-to-face meetings, or even training sessions.  If you use Hangouts on Air, your webinar will automatically be uploaded to YouTube.

Tap Into Additional Features
Take full advantage of the features that Google+ has to offer and do the following:

Grow your connections.  Add other users to your Google+ circles.  The more people you add, the more people see what you have to say.
Encourage engagement. The same basic principles you find on Facebook and Twitter are used on Google+ as well.  Use Google icons on your site and encourage others to use Google+.  This will give you more exposure.
Get a custom URL.  Once you have had your Google+ account for more than 30 days, you are able to create a custom name that is closer to your business name and easier to remember than the default string of numbers.
Promote your content.  It should be a standard practice that you share the content from your website on your Google+ account.
